Installer wrapped up the new canvas top this past Saturday morning - it adds so much life back into the car over the dingy original vinyl.

After.

Next major project will be upgrading the front bumper to the newer NC3. Once that’s done, its looks will finally match its low mileage. Until then I have a few smaller things to do - the gas cap has a small dent in it, so I was able to find another in Marble White via a Miata Facebook group, so I need to install that. I’ve also snagged TapTurn module that I need to install to facilitate upgrading the indicators to LED. The coolant tank isn’t in horrible shape, but they’re a known failure point on these cars, so I grabbed a new one off Tasca parts and will replace that when I flush the coolant. At that time I’ll also plan to refresh the gearbox and differential oil.

It sucks because the tops on both of my miatas were brand new at purchase. First one actually lasted fine and is still in good shape, it has outlived the car after all. But it got dingy as all hell being parked outdoors in winter. And I often put it down dirty and wet which didn't help. The second miata, top was also new but it was installed incorrectly according to a shop I went to, which explains why it tore one day when I opened it. Sucks because it looks great aside from the duct taped hole lol. At least I live in socal though so it rarely has to go up, I only put it up at night because otherwise the dew might get my seat wet.

Not sure how long it actually took as far as hours go - I don’t think the installer actually worked on it nonstop or anything, but I dropped it off Thursday morning and it was ready on Saturday morning, so he had it for two days.  I paid $660 for the Robbins top from Moss Miata and paid the installer $400.

That’s a bummer.  I’m hopeful he installed it right - it looks good at least, but I have yet to put it down because he said it should stay up for a few days and it’s also been about 30 degree highs here recently.  I’m planning on coating it with Raggtopp for protection once it gets a little warmer.

Oh sweet thanks. My NB came with a new top in the box and if I need it installed I kinda don't wanna DIY this

No problem - NA/NB tops are a little more straightforward, so it should be a bit less, too.
